And the people realized time in nature is what they had been missing. So they turned off their WiFi and communed with nature. They learned how to grow their own food, and why this was a part of healing. They learned how to make their own toothpaste, cleaners, and lotions. They learned the importance of herbs.
They learned how to teach their own children though play and connection and every day life. They learned to slow down and savor rest. They learned to dance in the sunshine and ground to the Earth. They learned to live by the cycles of the moon. They remembered the ways of their ancestors. They realized they didn’t need the institutions they were taught to rely on.
They learned who they were. What life was all about. What really mattered. And how they could be self sufficient. They learned to trust themselves and focus on making food & art & love. And there was no fear, because they knew what living a life in harmony felt like.
